Heinrich Schmid started La Serlas in St. Moritz in 1979, and the house now keeps a Zurich salon on Fortunagasse, just up from Bahnhofstrasse and Rennweg. There's a goldsmith's workshop next to the showroom, so bespoke and bridal pieces are made close to where you sit. They're known for rare coloured diamonds, including their own Serlas Pink, if you want an engagement ring that isn't the usual white stone.
