Beyer’s goldsmith atelier operates inside the Bahnhofstrasse 31 building with six goldsmiths, which means most repair and resizing work is done on site rather than sent to a third party. Ring resizing, stone replacement, and polishing are standard; more involved projects, like taking an inherited ring apart and remaking it with the original material into a new design, are also part of the atelier’s work.

The process for a redesign starts with a consultation to go through the brief and the existing piece, followed by design work and approval before anything is changed. You can also bring a ring for a straightforward resize without needing an appointment in advance, though advance booking is recommended for bespoke or redesign projects.
