LABHART Chronometrie and Goldschmiede

LABHART runs a private ring-making workshop in St. Gallen where you forge your own rings beside a goldsmith. The atelier keeps it to one couple at a time, so you have the goldsmith to yourselves. After a short consultation, usually one to two hours, the hands-on part takes about four to six hours depending on the design, and you form, solder, hammer and polish the bands yourselves.

You can work in yellow, white or rose gold, platinum, or a combination of metals. The goldsmith handles the final polishing, sets any stones, engraves a personal message and checks the quality. No prior experience is needed, since you are guided step by step, and the same workshop runs for engagement and anniversary rings as well as wedding bands.
