Meister 1881

Meister has traded at Bahnhofstrasse 33 since 1881 and keeps its own atelier in the building. The team includes goldsmiths, designers, gem setters, engravers and silversmiths, and the house also trains apprentices, so a ring can be made to order or chosen ready-made from the Meister 1881 collection. The firm has in-house gemologists, issues international gemstone certificates and works with the Swiss Gemmological Institute (SSEF) for stone reports.

Beyond its own work, the shop carries jewellery brands such as Gellner, Isabelle Fa and Louis Fiessler. Services run from custom commissions to repairs and alterations, pearl restringing, and polishing and cleaning. Staff serve in German, English and Chinese.
