Gellner

Gellner is a pearl-led, owner-managed house, now led by Jörg Gellner, that runs its own in-house manufactory and controls design, sourcing and production itself. The design signature treats the pearl as the centrepiece in modern settings, often paired with diamonds and gold rather than presented as a single classic strand. Collections include Soulmates, built around pearls, and Love Letters, a line of mother-of-pearl initial pendants.

Pearls are bought from established pearl farmers, and the house documents each one through a chain of custody, so the provenance is traceable. For couples open to a pearl in place of a diamond, this is a more unusual route into bridal jewellery.
