Bucherer Fine Jewellery

Bucherer’s engagement-ring offer is organised into named collections. The Joy line lets you choose the diamond cut, colour and setting; the 1888 collection sets diamonds in precious metals; and the Heaven line is built around round brilliant-cut solitaires in a six-prong setting. Rings come in white gold, yellow gold and platinum, and the diamonds are described by the four Cs, with clarity grades quoted from flawless down to SI1. In-store engraving is offered as part of the bespoke service.

The Zurich flagship is on the Bahnhofstrasse and includes a High Jewellery Salon for the firm’s finer pieces. As well as its own jewellery, Bucherer is a large watch retailer, carrying names such as Rolex, Cartier, Chopard, IWC, Longines and Piaget among many others, so couples can compare rings and watches in the same visit. The company began in Lucerne in 1888 and now runs stores across several countries.
