Chopard

Chopard was founded in 1860 and runs its bridal line on ethical gold. The house says that since July 2018 it has used only ethically sourced gold, worked directly in its own workshops into the alloys that hold its stones. If where the metal comes from matters to the decision, that traceability is the distinguishing point here.

Beyond the engagement solitaires, the wider L’Heure du Diamant line shows the house diamond work in rings, pendants and earrings, and Chopard is the maison behind the Happy Diamonds idea of stones that move freely inside the piece. The boutique sits at Bahnhofstrasse 40, and the house also keeps shops in Geneva and Gstaad. Appointments, servicing and warranty support are handled through the boutique.
