Harry Winston
Tocca una stella per valutare
Harry Winston founded the house in 1932, and its bridal work follows a principle the house attributes to him, that the diamond should lead the design rather than the metal. The Winston Cluster, drawn up in the 1940s, sets pear, marquise and round brilliant diamonds at varying angles so the stones build up into a three-dimensional shape with the metal kept out of sight.
The engagement range runs across several named lines. Classic Winston hand-sets a single stone into a minimal platinum mount. The HW Logo uses a micropave platinum setting marked with the house initials. Lily Cluster takes its form from 1940s Winston sketches of lilies in bloom, and the Pear-Shaped Cluster carries the Winston Cluster idea of stones that look like they float. The house says its specialists select each stone in the bridal collection individually. The Zurich salon is at Bahnhofstrasse 28 near Paradeplatz.
